I don't usually make any New Year's resolutions but this year I figured I'd give it a whirl. Hopefully by this time next year, I will have been successful with at least one or two.
*Send a card and/or care package to Alex at least once a month. Some days walking to the mailbox to the get mail was the highlight of my day in college.
*Make weekly meals plans. I hate panicking at 5pm every day wondering what I'm going to make (or take-out) for dinner. Hopefully this will also keep me from picking up a few items at the store every other day - that's really getting old.
*Take one day off from the computer each week.
*Establish some TV "off" hours aka "Turn the damn TV off. It doesn't need to be on 12 hours a day."
*Cut back on diet soda. I'm going to start with 2-3/day limit. Believe me - that is cutting back for me. I'd like to eventually go caffeine-free-ish too.
*Start saving money from home projects.
*De-clutter the house - starting with my bedroom.
*Use our reusable bags more often. I tend to forget them a lot - okay, almost always.
*Be in bed before midnight at least 5 days a week.
Alrighty. Let's see how this goes. :)

That's a great list. Especially de-clutter bedroom. Mine is the dumping ground of all things without a home.
I love the sending a care package one. I don't know who Alex is but that's a lucky kid! What time do you go to bed? If your goal is before midnight, girl, you need some sleep! And for the decluttering part, you need Chris Peters in your house for one day. He thinks if I hold onto a movie ticket stub for 10 minutes I'm a packrat. Not to say we don't have STUFF, 'cause we do, but he can't tolerate clutter and would have you cleaned out in an hour. I'm thankful for that 'cause my house would look WAAAAY different if he wasn't such an ass about it all.
Baby steps, baby steps. You can do it!
I think we're long lost twins. I have been wanting to do most of those things myself!
